According to a report by The Straits Times on 25th August 2007, a corporate-hospitality company has already been approaching companies and selling the Singapore F1 GP tickets to corporate clients.
Even before Singapore GP, the official race promoters, have appointed any official sales agent for the inaugural Singapore GP next September, some corporate clients have already been approached by sales representatives from a company who claimed to have already sold 200 seats to their global clients.
A check by us shows that this is the possible site (http://www.thgworldwide.com/html/eventdetails.asp?eventID=254) that the Straits Times was talking about. Facilities offered included "private tables, four-course dinner, open bar, grandstand tickets and champagne reception".
While nothing has been confirmed about whether Singapore will really be hosting the first ever night race in Formula 1 history, the company's website has even provided a provisional itinerary with the race starting at 8pm. According to the Straits Times report, the cost of the package is about US $59,000 for 20 people.
The official details for the corporate hospitality packages for the race will only be unveiled on the 28th of November this year, so before you race to get your tickets, think again.
